Len was formerly an Associate Professor in Restorative Dentistry at the University of Maryland Dental School for over 22 years. While there he was Co-Director of the Center for Clinical Studies and received research funding on over 28 grants. He has been awarded over 35 United States and Foreign Patents and was recognized as the Co-Recipient of the Entrepreneur of the Year in 2007 from the University of Maryland. He maintained an active General Practice of Dentistry within the University during this time. He is one of the co-inventors of the Novamin Technology for the reduction of Tooth Hypersensitivity.
Len first discovered Rock Hall from the water over 25 years ago. He has been coming here regularly as a sailor for the last 5 years. Once he discovered that it is possible to approach Rock Hall from the land he decided to make the area home. In addition to sailing, Len enjoys woodworking on a large scale, furniture, wall units and home additions. His organic garden is doing very well and keeping the rabbits and deer well fed!
